Hermione Wiltshire portrait

Hermione Wiltshire is an Artist and Senior Lecturer in the Photography Programme, SOAH. Her practice is an expanded photographic one that researches Feminist aesthetics, sexual reproduction and maternal studies. Her work is held in collections including the Birth Rites Collection at King’s College London which holds Terese in Ecstatic Childbirth whose narrative of censorship is told in Institutional Resistances to the Birthing Body jointly written with Helen Knowles curator of the collection.The Shared Gaze is a transdisciplinary research project in which midwives, medics, artists and curators collaborate in response to the BRC and a LAHP funded Collaborative Doctoral Award between RCA and BRC will enable a dedicated researcher to develop it. She has a residency in 2021 in University of Montreal to make a new work called Actions for Knowledge Repair.

Dr Annouchka Bayley (SFHEA) is Programme Lead and Tutor of Creative Education at the RCA and an artist working in the field of posthumanisms and new materialisms for art education. She has published a monograph, several academic articles, and edited books and SIs on the subject of artistic research, higher education and decolonisation. As an artist, she is an Emerging Director with the Royal Shakespeare Company and has written and performed over 20 one-woman and ensemble shows in Europe, USA and Japan.
